To the CHURCH HURT & “unchurched” because of the hurt!

—Make sure you are healed & in an environment conducive for healing & full restoration! While it’s cool to seek God on your own, WE ARE MADE FOR COMMUNITY! So while it’s understandable to want to nurse and protect your wounds, everyone isn’t out to get you; everyone isn’t trying to manipulate, control or exploit you; everyone isn’t trying to make your pain worse.

To the contrary, some are wanting you to be healed; some are wanting to help you get aligned in the Kingdom of God so that your testimony will be sure and your destiny will be fulfilled (because you can’t do everything alone); some want to be genuinely friends and in relationship with you for good & not harm; some want to help sharpen you & help to shift your perspective!

The ball is NOW in your court!

REMEMBER HEBREWS 10:25 - because God has a plan for you in Kingdom community. You just have to be open to it & align yourself in your ASSIGNED PLACE!

GET TO YOUR ASSIGNED PLACE

Get to your assigned place - church, business/job, etc.

It’s very important in this hour to be rightly aligned and connected—not just with God Himself, BUT ALSO with/in the place(s) He Himself has called you to be! And while circumstances may challenge us, God gives us everything we need to be in the right place, starting with in our hearts!!

I have had people tell me things like:

“I go to church here because that’s where I grew up” (even though they expressed discontent & lack of true spiritual growth in that place)

OR

“I have been hurt in (that) church; I’m not going to (any) church again! They are fake/hypocrites.”

OR

“I took this job because they offered me more money!”

OR

“I moved to this city because there are more opportunities!”

But THE QUESTION IS—did you truly seek God for clarity on this matter, to make sure that what you are doing is IN HIS PERFECT WILL (Romans 12:2)?

UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF ASSIGNMENT:

-you go to or stay in a place that God didn’t lead you to or you haven’t even asked God about to get clarity will result in stagnation, hurt & displacement!

“There is a way that SEEMS RIGHT to a man, BUT THE END thereof is DEATH!” -Proverbs 14:12; 16:25

➡️Why risk it? Why risk hindering your family or hurting your legacy from the Lord? Or derailing your divine destiny??

This isn’t me condemning you—this is me speaking Truth in love to you, calling you to set yourself before the Lord, and IF YOU NEED TO, come out of this place of disobedience that is masquerading as a place of generational comfort or personal pursuit of blessing that doesn’t have God’s approval on it!

SOME OF YOU ARE HURT & TRYING TO MAKE UP FOR IT BY CREATING YOUR OWN PATH TO PLEASING GOD, ONLY SETTING YOU UP TO BE & END UP JUST LIKE SAUL.

God is loving calling you not only FULLY BACK TO HIM, but also to the place(s) that He wants you to be—& it all starts with your heart!!!

It will all be figured out …when you seriously seek God, with right motives!!

-“Blessed are the pure in heart, for THEY SHALL SEE GOD!”

-“Seek Him while He may be found; call upon Him while He is YET NEAR!”

This is the time to do that, for TIME is of the essence!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Fasting is great in the 1st month of the year, BUT what good is it if you are not set on making last changes?!?

What’s the point of 21 days (or however long) of discipline and dying, only to revert completely back to everything, with no recognition of the changes previously made or pursued!

In 2024 & beyond:

Let’s learn context & revelation of the Scriptures & stop quoting them and even (worse) holding onto promises out of context—because that leads to disappointment!

God is not obligated to fulfill what YOU THINK HE PROMISED, but what He actually said and meant.

This is why true relationship with Jesus & growing maturity, discernment and intimacy with Holy Spirit is so very vital!!! This will not only help you in your one-on-one relationship with Him, but also knowing how and where to connect with others.

Because when you can be corrected, redirected, and adjusted, God can move in a real and profound way for you—& keep you guarded from unnecessary disappointments!

THOUGHTS:

God made His church (His people) to be sufficient in all things! Sadly, we too often look to (feel we have to look to) the world for inspiration, input, advice, counsel, etc.

Since when does the Holy Ghost miss? Is God NOT ENOUGH?

From business, to nutrition and fitness, to relationships on every level, God, His Word, His Spirit and those He sends have all the answers —& they will all be in sync with a message on the same accord, to confirm that, ”this IS the way, walk (ye) in it (Isaiah 30:21).”

But it starts with us, in our hearts - if our hearts aren’t in sync with God (thru our own personal relationship with God, thru our surrendered heart to Jesus), we will miss words of confirmation, administration of healing and restoration and even fulfillment, and will find ourselves chasing so much else, when everything we need, IN EVERY AREA OF LIFE, can and should be found IN THE LORD!

Good afternoon!

For this evening, for a few reasons, we will have to cancel service tonight.

We will tentatively push our Trivia night to next Wednesday’s gathering.

In place of service, I would like you to do the following:
1) Spend at least one hour between 6-9pm in prayer and devotion before the Lord! 🙏🏾📖📝
2) Reach out to one person to pray with them, encourage them, etc. - preferably someone who is unchurched, an unsaved family member or a friend/acquaintance you’ve been praying for. But let the Lord lead you in this—phone call or visit works, but let Him guide you. Doesn’t have to be long but let Him guide you in this!

See you Sunday. Invite someone to join us for service. Harvest time is upon us. God bless you richly, in Jesus’ name!
