'Twas the Night Before VBS
'Twas the night before VBS at Union Grove Baptist Church, and excitement was growing throughout every perch. The classrooms were ready, the decorations in place, prepared to welcome each child with God's love and grace.
The teachers were dreaming of lessons to share, of Bible truths and God's love beyond compare. The volunteers rested after working all day, preparing for guests who would soon come their way.
The music was ready, the songs set to sing, With praises to Jesus our Savior and King. The recreation games were lined up just right, ready for laughter and fun-filled delight.
The crafts were prepared and the tables were set, for food and fellowship no one would forget. From babies to seniors, all ages are welcome here, with classes and Bible study for everyone near.
As the church stood quiet beneath the moon's soft light, the members prayed faithfully throughout the night. That hearts would be touched and souls would draw near, to the Savior who loves them and longs to be here.
So tomorrow we'll gather with joy and delight, At Union Grove Baptist Church, shining God's light. With fellowship, learning, music, and fun, we'll celebrate Jesus, God's one and only Son.
Registration starts at 5 and VBS begins at 5:30 and ends at 8:30. Hope to see you there!
