First Baptist Church Opelika First Baptist Church is located at 301 S. 8th Street in Opelika, Alabama. We are a Family of Faith committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ.

⚔️🏰 What an incredible start to Kingdom Quest VBS!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Kickoff Night. From energetic worship to exciting drawings, mission challenge, and lots of smiling faces, it was a wonderful evening as we launched into a week of learning about God's truth and love together.

We are so grateful for our volunteers, families, and children who made tonight so special. The quest has officially begun, and we can't wait to see what God does throughout the week!

Please note our church office hours will be adjusted during VBS/VBX week as our staff serve in various activities and lessons throughout the week.

The church office will be closed each morning and will open at 1:00 p.m. during VBS/VBX week. There will also be no evening activities on June 3.

Normal office hours will resume on Friday, June 5. Please see the graphic for exact office hours!

What a great morning of worship together at FBCOpelika! We were encouraged by messages from Psalm 19, shared by Paul Dunbar and Paxton Brittle, as we were reminded of God's glory revealed through His Word and creation.

Don't forget... VBS Kickoff is tonight at 6:00 PM in the Worship Center! There will be no other evening activities as we gather to kick off an exciting week of VBS.

VBS/VBX is almost here, and we can’t wait for an incredible week!

Online registration has officially closed, but don’t worry — on-site registration will be available during KickOff Night and on the first day of VBS!

👕 T-Shirts
T-shirts will be available this Sunday before and after the 9:45 AM and 11:00 AM services. They are first-come, first-served. Any donations for T-shirts will go toward our missionaries. Remaining shirts will be available Sunday night at the Kick-Off Party!
