Meetings begin in Oct through May. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS is a worldwide non-denominational ministry that encourages mothers of young children, who are adjusting to the joys and challenges of motherhood. MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting needs, making connections, and experiencing God's love. MOPS International exists to encourage, equip and develop every mother
of preschoolers to realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader in the name of Jesus Christ. By meeting the needs of moms, and making an impact in a mom... we impact a child, and ultimately, impact the world. Better Moms Make a Better World. The mission of MOPS in the City & MOMSnext of Auburn, Al is to be an open and supportive fellowship that exemplifies Christ's love through instruction, nurture, service and outreach to all mothers for the glory of God. Monthly meetings include food, fellowship, various speakers, discussion group time, and a creative activity. We meet on the 1st Thursday of each month @ 6:00pm-8:00pm. Childcare is provided for meetings for children age birth to 5 years. There is also a room available for MOMSnext's older children ages 6 and up. This program is called MOPPETS. The total cost to join MOPS in the City & MOMSnext from (Oct. 2017-May 2018) is $55.
