Abaana's Hope follow's Christ command by giving aid to Uganda's poor, sick and suffering. We continue to see God’s hand at work, restoring the Acholi people through the comprehensive Abaana’s Hope Community. The truth of God’s Word is boldly proclaimed weekly by Pastors Olara Sunday and Okello Benson at Living Stones Church. Vulnerable women and children, like Carolyn and Oscar, have found safety
and learned life-sustaining skills through the Women’s Refuge Center. Many orphans and children are receiving immunizations, food supplements, education, and hope through the Child Development Program. Numerous men and women, like Vincent Wilobo and Ajok Christine, are providing for their families through jobs on our farm and our Life Beads program. Many children are receiving a Christ-centered education at Living Stones Christian School. All our students and employees receive treatment through our Medical Clinic. Soldiers stationed at Atoo Hill hear the gospel, through regular Bible studies, with our missionaries and short-term mission teams. Over 40 students from the Pastor Training Center are being empowered to evangelize, disciple, and plant churches among the refugee camps and surrounding villages, and among many tribes of northern Uganda and South Sudan. Only God can accomplish what we’ve witnessed at Abaana’s Hope, and we give Him all the glory.
