Our group of rising 4th-6th graders is having a wonderful week at Camp KidJam!

We're grateful for this opportunity for students to step away from their everyday routines and spend intentional time growing in their faith, building friendships, and having fun alongside their leaders.

Would you join us in praying for our campers and leaders this week? Pray that they would experience the love of Jesus in a personal way, deepen their faith, and return home encouraged by all God has done.

We believe God is at work, and we can't wait to hear the stories of how He moves through this week.

Day 3 of Kingdom Quest was filled with joy, worship, and adventure!

Today, our kids discovered the truth that changes everything: Jesus is alive!

Throughout the day, children learned that because Jesus conquered death, we can have hope, purpose, and life in Him. We are thankful for every moment spent worshiping, learning, and growing together this week.

As Kingdom Quest continues, we are praying that the seeds of truth planted in the hearts of these children will continue to take root and bear fruit for years to come.

What an incredible Day 2!

Our hallways were filled with laughter, worship, and excitement as children gathered for another day of adventure. More importantly, they learned a powerful truth: Jesus is with us.

Just as Jesus met Peter in the middle of the storm, our kids discovered that Jesus meets us in every circumstance and that we never have to walk alone. We believe God is at work in the lives of these children, drawing them closer to Himself and helping them grow in faith.

What a great start to Kingdom Quest VBS!

On Day 1, our explorers learned an important truth: Jesus is the way. Throughout the day, children worshiped, prayed, learned God's Word, and had a lot of fun.

Thank you for praying for our kids, volunteers, and leaders this week. We are grateful for all God is doing and look forward to seeing what He has in store as our adventure continues tomorrow.

This morning, a group of our college students are headed to Wilmore, KY for the Awakening Project at Asbury University, and we would love for you to join us in praying over them throughout the week.

Please pray for:
• Pray for safety, protection, and peace as we travel to and from Kentucky
• Pray that our students would encounter God in fresh and personal ways
• Pray for spiritual hunger, openness, and expectancy
• Pray that students would grow in their identity, faith, and calling
• Pray for deep friendships and meaningful community to form
• Pray for wisdom and discernment as students learn and process together
• Pray for our students to return encouraged, equipped, and empowered to serve and lead in the places God has called them
• Pray that this would not just be a meaningful week away, but that it would bear lasting fruit in our church, college ministry, and community.

We are excited to announce Whit Heath as the next Student Minister at First Methodist Church of Opelika!

Whit begins on Sunday, May 31, and we are grateful to celebrate this new season of ministry with him and his family.

We also want to express our deep gratitude for Rick and Chona Lane and for more than 43 years of faithful ministry among our students and families. Their love, leadership, and investment have shaped generations.

As we look ahead, we are excited for our students to continue growing in faith, following Jesus, and discovering the Spirit-led life together.
