What a joyful and memorable day at St. Luke A.M.E. Church, Opelika! On Sunday, August 30, 2026, Pastor Reverend Monique Summers and the entire St. Luke Church family were blessed to officially welcome our newest member, Ms. Yvonne Walker, into our church family.
We give all glory and praise to God for continuing to add to the membership of St. Luke! We are grateful for every soul God sends our way and excited about what He is continuing to do in the life of our church.
Making this special occasion even more meaningful, Ms. Walker’s son and daughter-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Tim Dennis, joined us for worship to witness this momentous occasion. We thank God for their presence, love, and support.
Following worship, we continued the celebration with a late lunch at Texas Roadhouse in Auburn, where we enjoyed delicious food, wonderful fellowship, laughter, and time together.
Welcome to the St. Luke family, Ms. Yvonne Walker! We are so glad God led you our way. May we continue to worship, grow, serve, and belong together!
