October Memory Verses are here!

This month, our kids are hiding God’s Word in their hearts as we learn these verses together during First Opelika Kids Grow Together.

Parents, practice them at home, say them in the car, or make them part of your bedtime routine. Little moments in God’s Word add up!

It’s September, which means we have new memory verses!

This month, our kids will be learning and hiding God’s Word in their hearts each Sunday during Grow Together. Practice these verses together at home, in the car, or around the dinner table and see how God uses His Word throughout the month!

Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM as we grow together in God’s Word.

Earlier this week, families gathered to worship together and pray over the next generation as we begin a new school year.

We laughed, played, and celebrated together. But most importantly, we sought the Lord together, asking Him to move in the lives of every child, student, family, teacher, and school in our community.

Our prayer doesn’t end here. As students step into classrooms, teachers into schools, and families into new routines, we will continue praying that God would draw hearts to Himself and raise up a generation that knows, loves, and follows Jesus.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Wherever this school year leads, we know the One who goes before us. He is faithful. He is present. And He is always with us.

Here at First Opelika Kids, we don’t just want to disciple kids for one hour on Sunday mornings. We want to help equip parents for the everyday moments.

This August, we’re learning that we are Made by God. Check this month’s Parent Connection and Memory Verse, then keep the conversation going at breakfast, in the car, at bedtime, and everywhere in between.
You don’t have to add more to your calendar to grow your child’s faith. Simply invite Jesus into the moments you’re already living.

We’d love for your family to join us this month for Grow Together at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM, where kids from birth through 6th grade discover God’s truth in fun, age appropriate environments while we partner with you to help them find and follow the Spirit-led life Jesus.
