Today a great time of fellowship was had by all as we enjoyed BBQ, wonderful music from Webster’s Wheel, and swimming! We love our church family, and would like to invite you to join us Sunday’s at 10:30 am!

You are invited to an afternoon of food, swimming and fun with local folk duo, Webster’s Wheel. This event is located on an 8 acre spot on Moore’s Mill Rd. (just past the Lazy Bee, 5068 Lee Rd 146, Opelika 36804). Barbecue is provided by The Oaks, but please bring a dessert or side dish to share (and maybe a lawn chair to put in the shade). Event is from 1-3pm on Sunday, July 11. Bring a swim suit and towel, if the kids want to swim.

Today The Oaks Kids learned about how to be a good leader who brings others to God in our new June series called “Take the Lead”. Then after the service we had such a great time of fellowship “splashing into summer” with our friends!

We would love to have you join us next week at church at 10:30 am!

Join us Sunday, June 6, for our Splash Into Summer event with food, water slides, and inflatables immediately following the 10:30 am service.  Bring a side dish or dessert to share and towels/swimsuits for the kids. Slides and inflatables set up for ALL ages!

Today The Oaks Kids continued our study of the Holy Spirit in our Legacy series! One thing we have learned is that the Holy Spirit helps us love others and see them through the “lens” of God’s love. That’s why today we are sporting our new shades!

David Wagner will be speaking at The Oaks on Monday at 6 pm.

Dave has a huge heart of mercy and carries a special grace to meet people wherever they are in life. David is the founder of Father Heart Ministries, and he uses his prophetic gifting to empower, equip, and encourage people to discover their destiny and identity in Christ. Since starting Father’s Heart, David has ministered across the United States and in more than 60 nations. David and his wife Molly live in Franklin, Tennessee. They have six amazing children, including a new daughter in law: Arah, Benjamin and Kelsea, Caleb, Joshua and Isaac who love to travel and minister with their Dad whenever they can. Child care provided for 5 and under.

Bring your family for pictures and pastries with mom at 10:15 tomorrow morning in the auditorium.  Our kid’s ministry will continue week two of the Legacy series, which includes games, crafts, and fun activities during the service.
