On this First Sunday, we had the honor of hosting a beautiful baby shower for Sister Quavi and her husband, Patrick. 💕👶🏽

It is truly a blessing when the church can come together as a village and pour into another sister or brother’s life. Today, we celebrate the life of their coming newborn and the beautiful love that was born out of AWWC.

We are blessed to know that we are not a people who just speak about the love of God, but we are a people of action, demonstrating His love through what we do. ❤️

Congratulations to this beautiful couple and to our newest nephew in the AWWC family! 🍼💙

We love you and celebrate with you! 🎉🙏🏽

We just stopped by today with a song of worship to encourage someone to keep holding on. Regardless of what it looks like or what it feels like, God will be exactly what you need Him to be. He will meet you right where you are, exactly when you need Him to meet you. He will meet every need and do exceedingly, abundantly above all you could ever ask or think.

He is a God who will manifest Himself in whatever way you need. If you need a Healer, He will manifest Himself as your Healer. If you need a Fighter, He will fight for you. If you need shelter, He will be your refuge. If you need a Father or a Mother, He will fill that place. If you need peace, joy, strength, comfort, or hope, He is able to manifest Himself as everything you need.

Whatever you need, God is able to be that for you. So keep holding on, because your Father already knows what you have need of before you even ask.

There is something so unique, so different, and so special about entering into a place of worship.

It’s a place of surrender.
A place of gratitude.
A place of complete freedom.

It’s where I’m reminded of everything God has done for me, every prayer He has answered, every door He has opened, and every time His grace carried me when I couldn’t carry myself.

Worship reminds me of His unconditional, unwavering, unchanging love. A love that never fails, never leaves, and never gives up on me.

In His presence, I can simply cry, “Abba, Father,” knowing I belong to Him and He is my true Father.

There is no place I’d rather be than in His presence. 🤍
