Summer offers a beautiful invitation to rediscover the gift of rest. As a church family, we rest because He reigns. When we intentionally set aside time to cease from striving, working, producing, and filling every moment with noise and activity, we create space to be formed more into the likeness of Jesus!
Sabbath is not a requirement we keep in order to belong to God; it is a gift we receive because we already do. It is a weekly reminder that our worth is not found in what we accomplish, but in whose we are.
