June 2012 my daughter was diagnosed with end stage liver & kidney failure and all doctor's reports said it was only a matter of time until she would die. Little did they know that GOD had spoken words of HOPE to me many years before and I was going to TRUST GOD and stand on His promise in spite of how things looked in the natural. God said "Nicole has a mighty work to do... her life will be like
a battle zone but mother, FEAR NOT... I have 7 angles encamped around her and MY WORK WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH HER” It was a promise from God and I knew deep within my heart that no matter what was ahead of us we were going to stand in FAITH, walk in HOPE and TRUST in His promise. August 2012 Nicole was rushed to the emergency room with internal bleeding and was in ICU with little hope for recovery. During her stay a bouquet of flowers arrived and with them came a small brown teddy bear. Trying anything to make Nicole smile I began giving her teddy bear kisses all over her face... she manage a slight smile and quietly whispered "Mom, what's his name?" Immediately I said "We'll name him Rapha for Jehovah Rapha your HEALER" and at that very moment, "Rapha Bear" was born. He was her point of contact to the Lord, her prayer cloth and he was her faithful companion and stayed by her side both day & night. Exodus 15:26 is a promise from GOD: "IF you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God AND do what is right in His sight AND give heed to His commandments AND keep His statutes, I will NOT bring upon you ANY of the sickness & disease brought upon the Egyptians: FOR I AM THE LORD WHO HEALS YOU" This is a promise to ALL Gods children so we stood firm and we were trusting and believing Him for a miracle turn around. Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months with every day having it's share of challenges. Dialysis treatments 3 times per week along with blood transfusions, emergency room visits and ICU stays.. this became the norm but nothing was going to sway us and have us take our eyes off of Jehovah Rapha, Our Healer. We cried out to God, "Let your will be done via supernatural healing or through transplant" and after 9 long months of fighting the darkness of death we received the good news that Nicole had finally been approved to be added to the National Organ Donor Sharing Program. This news came at just the right time as she clung to life with only a 2% chance of her living. On March 17th 2013 after a long 7 hour surgery Nicole received her new life saving liver and several hours later after another 4 hour surgery Nicole received her new life saving kidney. All this was truly a gift from God and it. confirmed what I felt so deep within my heart… HE was faithful to His promise to me. Job 42:2 tells us "No plan of God's can be thwarted" and His work will be accomplished"
After months of rehabilitation, prayer and seeking God for His plan & purpose Nicole felt that we should share this wonderful message of who Jehovah Rapha, our HEALER is with others.
