Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we also take a moment to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy each day. We pray for comfort for the families of the fallen and gratitude in our hearts for those who served with courage and selflessness!

This past Sunday was so special as we celebrated Confirmation Sunday! ✨
We are so proud of each confirmand and grateful for the mentors, families, and church community who have walked alongside them throughout this season.
Please join us in praying for these students as they continue to grow in faith, wisdom, and love for Christ. 💙

Please be in prayer for the family of the Reverend Randall B. Martin. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at Ooltewah UMC, 6131 Relocation Way, Ooltewah, TN, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The service will follow at 6:30 p.m.

It is with deep love and gratitude for a life dedicated to serving the Lord, that I share Randy Martin has passed from life to life today. Randy served the people of Ooltewah United Methodist Church from 1987-1994 as Senior Pastor and again in retirement from 2020-2021. Randy led OUMC in a season of unprecedented growth and in the move from the Stone Church to our current location. Randy helped OUMC build our current sanctuary and education building. He is known in the Holston Annual Conference as a spirit-filled leader, trusted friend, powerful preacher, and beloved shepherd. Randy served as the District Superintendent for the Chattanooga District along with many other churches through out Holston. Personally, I have had the privilege of learning from Randy and the blessing of his support for the past 10 years. He would always end our conversations with this line, “Just give them Jesus”. Today Randy is with Him. I call on our church to be in prayer for Patsy and the family. We will convey arrangements at a later date.

Tonight we were honored to host the New Recruit Training Graduation for Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department. We are grateful for the way TCVFD takes care of our community and we’re happy to partner with them for this celebration.
