We hope you were blessed and reminded of God's loving character In Acts 18, where God encouraged Paul to keep speaking and not be silent, because He had many people in that city whom He would bring to Himself.

Sometimes faithfulness looks extraordinary. Sometimes it simply looks like continuing—trusting God, obeying His Word, and staying the course even when the work feels ordinary or difficult.

We don't find our security in seeing the results. We find security in faithfully obeying the God who holds the results.

Keep going. Keep speaking. Keep obeying.

Who is one person in your life that you genuinely want to see know Jesus?

We learned In Acts 17, Paul was “provoked” by the idolatry around him (v. 16), but his burden didn't make him withdraw from people. It moved him toward them. He listened, reasoned, and spoke the truth with wisdom and love (vv. 17, 22–23).

We were left with 2 simple reminders for us:

Know your audience.
Take time to know people—their story, their questions, what they believe, and what they need to hear. Love listens.

Know your God.
Paul knew the God he proclaimed (vv. 24–31). We need His Word shaping us so that when opportunities come, we can faithfully point people to Christ.

But don't settle for a flickering candle when you could spend your life growing into a blazing torch.

Know people. Know God. Make Christ known.

We’re glad you came. Truly. Whether Westwood is home for you, you're visiting, or you're simply taking a first step toward church—we're genuinely glad you were here.
One of the reminders from today's message was this: “The lost needs you to know your God.”
Evangelism isn't merely a program of the church or something reserved for the especially bold. Christ has entrusted the gospel to His people. We have good news worth knowing, living, and making known.
The question isn't simply, “Does my neighbor know about Jesus?” but “Am I willing to make Him known?”
May God make us a people who know Him deeply enough that we cannot help but speak of Him freely—with humility, courage, and love. The gospel came to us so that, by God's grace, it might go through us.
Thank you for worshiping with us today. Let's carry the good news with us wherever God sends us this week.

We gather to learn, worship, hear God’s Word, and encourage one another in the faith.
This Sunday, our Sunday School walked through the holiness and anger of God, and our time in Acts reminded us of a simple but searching truth:
God is on the throne—not us.

Not every theological disagreement is a reason to divide.
As Christians, we’re called to contend for the faith while also learning to distinguish between what is essential, what is important, and what faithful Christians can disagree about.
Theological triage helps us ask:
→ What must we believe?
→ What should shape our church?
→ What can we disagree about in love?
Knowing the difference helps us hold firmly to truth without making every disagreement a battle.

The mission field is closer than you think.
Your neighbors. Your coworkers. The people you pass on your daily walk.
We don’t need to manufacture relationships—we need to leverage the ones God has already given us, open our eyes to the people around us, invite them into our lives, and invite them to church.
The gospel multiplies through ordinary people faithfully loving the people already in their lives.

Acts 2:23 - "This Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless men." (ESV)
