🙏🤍THIS SUNDAY - Our pastors don't serve with the expectation of receiving gifts, but Pastor Appreciation Month is a wonderful opportunity for us to show our gratitude for all they do. Our pastors invest many hours of their time, in their efforts in caring for us, teaching us, and watching over us, and we are continually grateful for all they do, both in the spotlight and behind the scenes.

Whether it's a thoughtful note, a small gift, or an act of service, there are many ways to let our pastors know that their time, dedication, and faithfulness are appreciated. Here are a few ideas to help you get started!

We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

Do we truly understand what God's Word says, or do we sometimes approach Scripture with our own assumptions? In Mark 12:18–27, Jesus challenges the Sadducees' understanding of the resurrection and reveals how easily we can misunderstand both Scripture and the power of God. As we explore this passage alongside Ephesians 5:22–30, we discover that earthly marriage points to something far greater: the relationship between Christ and His Church. Join us as we look beyond our earthly understanding to discover God's greater purpose for marriage and the eternal reality He has prepared for His people.

For the past 23 weeks, we’ve been taking a deep dive into the Gospel of Mark, and we’re currently in Chapter 12! We encourage you to click the link above to revisit any lessons you may have missed.
When we study a book of the Bible in depth, it takes time, and it’s natural for things to get missed along the way. So this week, we’re pausing our regular lessons to give you an opportunity to catch up, revisit previous teachings, and reflect on what we’ve been learning together.

Take some time this week to review, refresh, and continue growing in God’s Word!

❤️The Heart to Heart Quilters are preparing to send their beautiful handmade quilts out to their respective charities, where they will bring warmth, comfort, and encouragement to those in need, including hospital patients, veterans, and individuals facing illness.

Join us as we gather to pray over these quilts and the people who will receive them. Pastor will be joining us to pray over each quilt and the ministry behind this special gift of love.

Come support the Heart to Heart Quilters and help us send these quilts out with prayer and purpose!

In Mark 12, Jesus gives us an important perspective on government, citizenship, and our place in the world. When asked about paying taxes to Caesar, Jesus could have told His followers to abandon the system and create their own community. Instead, He teaches us how to live faithfully within an earthly political system while remembering that our ultimate allegiance belongs to God.

“Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

Caesar’s image was stamped on the coin, but God’s image is stamped on us. What does that mean for the way we live, serve, and use what God has given us?

Join us as we study Mark 12 and consider what belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God.
