"See the faces that have been helped."

We received this picture today… and smiled 🥰

We asked their mom if we could share it, she was honest with us. She said she normally doesn’t allow photos of her children on social media because she wants to protect them.

All parents would completely understand that!

Then she said something that made us stop.

“I feel that having faces to see that have been helped is important.”

Those words lingered all day.

As we celebrate 250 years as a nation, I can’t help but think about what “home” means.
For these three beautiful children, it means security.
It means love.
It means being together.

Thank you to this incredible mom for trusting Family Promise of Wayne County with a small part of your family’s journey, and for allowing us to share this moment with our community.

Happy 250th, America. 🇺🇸
