On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. May we hold their sacrifice in grateful hearts and pray for peace, comfort, and hope for all.

Have you felt called to deepen your faith, grow in leadership, or explore ministry more intentionally? The NACCC’s Lay Ministry Training Program offers an opportunity to develop your gifts, strengthen your understanding of ministry, and serve your church and community in meaningful ways.

Whether you are discerning a call to ministry or simply looking to expand your knowledge and service, this program is designed to support and encourage you along the journey.

Interested? Check out the LMTP webpage on the NACCC site. There, you’ll find a thoughtful letter from recent graduate Rev. January Peavey sharing her experience in the program, along with an inspiring article about answering God's call toward ministry written by the program’s administrator, Polly Bodjanac.

If you’re considering applying - or if you have questions and would like to learn more - please reach out to Polly Bodjanac at [email protected] or Laura Wright at [email protected].

What themes would you like to see explored in future editions of The Congregationalist?

Each issue of the magazine is built around a central theme that creates a common thread throughout the edition. Sometimes the theme is the focus of an article; other times, it appears as a subtle undertone woven into the stories, reflections, and ideas shared across the issue.

As we begin planning for 2027 and beyond, we’d love your input.

Some of our past and upcoming themes have included: Faith, Freedom, Fellowship, Giving, Roots, Reverence, Restoration, Reflection, Thresholds, Stewardship, Covenant, and Wonder.

What themes resonate with you? What conversations and ideas would you like to see explored in future issues of The Congregationalist?

Share your suggestions in the comments or send them to us at [email protected].
