Tomorrow is going to be a special day in the life of Lester Memorial!

We will have a "Burning of the Note" prayer time around 9:45 AM in the Upper Room worship space. This will follow our 8:30 AM Modern Worship Experience. If you've never been a part of a "Burning of the Note" celebration, it is a WONDERFUL time!

Following the Note Burning, we will have a special brunch for the entire Church in the Fellowship Hall (around 10 AM). This will afford us the opportunity to share a word of gratitude with Pastor Joe Hastings as he entered full-time retirement as of January 1 of this year. This is not a farewell ceremony for Dr. Joe because he nor Ms. Cindy will be going anywhere. Lester is still their home!

There will be no Sunday School classes held for children, youth or adults tomorrow, so that everyone can attend the brunch!

Feel free to write a note of thanks to Pastor Joe for all his years of servant leadership and service in a full-time capacity. We will have a special collection point in the Fellowship Hall for your notes and letters.

We're looking forward to celebrating alongside all of you tomorrow morning!
