our first practical skills class was Saturday! we took on sourdough, making boules, English muffins, and bagels.

such a sweet, down to earth group of women, who spent their free time (Lord knows that's rare) learning a skill to serve their families, to go home and make their homes just a bit more... homey.

homemaking isn't the easiest, especially these days when life is just busy, but watching these women carefully and intentionally create places of calm amid the chaos, it's inspiring.

so excited to welcome the newest Huie baby to our church family, he's already loved 'a bushel and a peck'. join us in praying that his life would be one of faithfulness, that he'd never know a day he isn't doing justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with his Father.
