The Redemption Movement is proud is sponsor Club Odyssey's college student outreach for the new semester! Welcome back Oneonta students!

Students are back and this Saturday, 8/28, we’re assembling and distributing 500 “welcome-back” care packages for college students--complete with goodies like snacks, journals, batteries, stickers, swag, information about Club Odyssey on Water Street, and more!
There are three ways you can help: 1) You can donate items to be included in the care package (the size of each box = 9X6X2), or 2) you can make a monetary gift to help offset expenses, and/or 3) you can come to CO on Saturday to help assemble and distribute the care packages. We get started at 9am, and we’ll be joined by dozens of SUNY Oneonta students from .
Let’s work together to make young people feel like they truly belong in our Oneonta community!

Movies begin at sunset and wrap up by 10:30pm. Events are free, all-ages, and weather dependent. Bring your own chair or blanket and enjoy your favorite flicks under the stars! 📽🌠

We have a lot going on at church this week leading up to Easter Sunday celebration service.
1. We are participating in an outdoor, citywide tour of the Stations of the Cross. Starting at Main Street Baptist church you can park your car then walk/drive to other churches to view and pray at the Stations of the Cross which recall the events leading up to Christ's death. The order of churches is 1) Main Street Baptist, 2) River Street Baptist, 3) The Salvation Army, 4) First Presbyterian Church, 5) First United Presbyterian Church.
2. Easter basket and seedling giveaway Saturday 10am until supplies are gone. This is also an outdoor event. Please help us spread the word for this giveaway. Invite others and share this post.
3. Easter Sunday worship service. We are open! Please join us as we celebrate Christ's resurrection. We practice mask wearing and social distancing. Listening on your car radio from the parking lot is also available. Adult Sunday school at 9:30am and kids church are open this Easter Sunday.

Presently, it's still too risky to welcome Oneonta's college students back with the Kindness Station outreach and free rides. However, Club Odyssey is in a great position to be open downtown as a safe, caring, and welcoming space for young people. In order to ensure CO can meet young people's needs in 2021, a short survey has been created. It only takes a few minutes and will greatly impact what services CO provides.
