New Berlin First UMC Our church mission group decided to serve Halloweenies out of our front door on Halloween night in New Berlin. We also gave each trick or treater a Jesus Loves You bracelet. We cooked and served up nearly 300 hotdogs on a cold and festive evening.

On the Edges of Transparency and Opacity – with Phil Young

This course will explore the potentials of using self-leveling acrylic gels which can transfer paper-based imagery and other color in glasslike qualities of suspended color in combination with more opaque color and surfaces. 3-D potentials can be explored.
Dates: Wednesdays, September 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

The Mission Committee of the New Berlin First UMC delivered two 55" Smart TV's and two Paperwhite Kindles to the Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin. The TV's will be used in community and common areas, and the Kindles will help residents read since the type face can be enlarged. The money was raised through the loose change coin challenge jugs and matched from our mission fund.

We're holding an Open House & Bake Sale this Sunday, June 11th, from 1:30-3:30pm, partly in honor of the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of Founders' Lodge and partly to properly celebrate the completion of the exterior porch stairs. (Not that we need one, but it's also a fun excuse to hang out with all of you!)
