Upper New York AC affirms 3 New Faith Communities
in the Oneonta/Binghamton Districts!

Open Doors: A United Methodist Community in Franklin, NY

Nourished, through the Middleburgh UMC

Restauradores Hispanic Ministry (Restorers) @ Endwell United Methodist Church

Each of these ministries stands as a testament to dedication and a forward-thinking vision, aiming to reach new people in contextual and impactful ways. Their mission? To create disciples of Jesus Christ for a world that's transformed.

New Faith Communities breath life into the mission of reaching new people in unique and meaningful ways, ensuring that the legacy of discontinued congregations continues to impact lives positively.

We're excited about the journey ahead and the far-reaching impact these ministries can have!

New Berlin First UMC Our church mission group decided to serve Halloweenies out of our front door on Halloween night in New Berlin. We also gave each trick or treater a Jesus Loves You bracelet. We cooked and served up nearly 300 hotdogs on a cold and festive evening.

The Mission Committee of the New Berlin First UMC delivered two 55" Smart TV's and two Paperwhite Kindles to the Chase Nursing Home in New Berlin. The TV's will be used in community and common areas, and the Kindles will help residents read since the type face can be enlarged. The money was raised through the loose change coin challenge jugs and matched from our mission fund.
