We know our community loves going to a good show, so we are very excited to announce that this month we have not one, but TWO theater opportunities to show support to a few of our OUMCC kiddos.

Obadiah will be participating in Finding Nemo Jr. with the Community Arts Council of Blount Co. on June 6th.

Stella and Henry will be participating in Matilda the Musical with Ghostlight Theater Co. on June 13th at the Little Brick Church.

We are very excited to be hosting 5th Sunday Combined Service with Altoona First UMC tomorrow, this Sunday 5/30! We hope that everyone is able to join us for 10:00 Sunday Schools and 11:00 service.

Immediately following worship, we will have a lunch picnic at Glandon Field (999 Jan Street.) Hot dogs and water will be provided. We ask that you please bring a side, dessert, or drinks.

Additional reminders:
-We will have gift baskets set up for our two senior graduates, Eden & Jo. We ask that you please bring a card or letter for each of them with a word of encouragement. Cash gifts and gift cards are also appreciated.
-Our ASP team is asking for monetary donations to help cover travel/gas/worksite expenses. They will be serving in Buchanan Co, VA starting June 14th.

Annual Conference begins TODAY!

See the information below about the Special Offering for this year. This is a very impactful ministry that trains and equips our future UMC pastors and leaders. If you were not able to give this past Sunday, there is a link in the article to give online.

Congregations should send their offering to the 2026 Annual Conference session. It will be received during the Friday morning worship.

Hey OUMCC Kids! Summer is finally here!! Let's celebrate with a movie night.

We hope you can join us tomorrow, Wednesday 5/27, from 5-7pm at the church for a summer kickoff party and movie night. We will have pizza, snacks, and popcorn. Feel free to bring a blanket and wear comfy clothes.

It's only 3 short weeks until our team heads north for our summer mission trip with Appalachia Service Project! We found out this week that we will be serving in Buchanan County, VA on June 14-20.

We still have room for a few more volunteers and we are also taking donations for gas and other trip expenses. Let Skyler know if you would like any additional information on ASP!

We are so proud of our High School Senior Graduates: Eden Holton & Joseph Gorman! Class of 2026 - You did it!! We love you and are excited to continue to watch you pursue the next step in your lives.

Next Sunday 5/31, we will have a special basket out for each of them. We ask everyone to please bring letters/cards with a word of affirmation. You may also include cash or gift cards. Let's show them how proud we are of all their accomplishments!
