You are invited to join us for worship at Evangel in Allgood, just south of Oneonta. Pastor Phil is currently working through the book of Matthew during morning worship; tomorrow, he will be opening the Word in the beginning of the 26th chapter.

Bible studies and prayer meetings are available through our "mother" church in north Clay, Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA.

We have a small but friendly congregation of people who love the Lord and love each other. We believe in praying with and for one another and in learning more and more about our wonderful Lord and Savior through His Word. Come and grow with us!

You are invited to join us for morning worship at Evangel each and every Sunday morning at 9 a.m. You are also invited to join us in the cemetery at our "mother" church, Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA, for a Resurrection Sunday Sunrise Service at 6:15 a.m. this Sunday, April 5th, 2026.

We hope to see you at Evangel and at the Sunrise Service this Sunday!

You are invited to join us on Resurrection Sunday, April 5th, 2025, as we meet in the cemetery at 6:15 a.m. to worship our living and risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We would love to have you stay after the service for coffee and snacks in the fellowship hall.

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and Morning Worship at 11 a.m. each and every Sunday at Mt. Calvary. We usually have a fellowship meal after morning worship, followed by an informal afternoon worship service. Visitors are always welcome.

UPDATE: There are some strong fumes throughout the church at Shiloh Methodist, so there will be NO worship service at that location tomorrow. However, you are welcome to join us at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA in north Clay for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. in the fellowship hall and morning worship at 11 in the sanctuary. We hope to see you there!

There is some renovating being done in the sanctuary of the Shiloh Allgood Methodist Church, so Evangel will be meeting in the fellowship hall downstairs for morning worship for this Sunday only. Worship will be at 9 a.m., and you may park on the right hand side of the building and enter in the side door to go down a few stairs into the fellowship hall. We look forward to seeing you there!

The current sermon series is on the book of Matthew.

Morning worship for Evangel at Shiloh Allgood Methodist Church will be resuming tomorrow morning at 9 a.m.
Tomorrow morning, Pastor Phil will be resuming his series on the book of Matthew in chapter 13.

The following additional activities are available this coming week. These activities all take place at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA at 9392 Cedar Mountain Road in north Clay unless otherwise noted:

Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.
Morning Worship at 11
Fellowship lunch
Afternoon worship at around 1:30 on Lamentations.
Wednesday morning Bible study at 9:30 a.m. on Ecclesiastes at MCPC in the fellowship hall
Wednesday evening Bible study at 7 p.m. on 2 Corinthians
Thursday evening prayer meeting at 6:30 p.m.;
Fellowship meal to follow
The Thursday activities this week will take place in the fellowship hall of MCPC.

This coming Sunday, Sept. 21st, Evangel will not be meeting at Shiloh Allgood Methodist at 9 as we normally do. We will be joining our "mother" congregation at Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church PCA in north Clay for worship at 11. There will be a guest pastor at Mt. Calvary that day: Clete Hux, formerly of Apologetics Resource Center.

The following Sunday, Sept. 28th, at 9 a.m., Evangel will be resuming worship at the Shiloh Allgood Methodist Church. Pastor Phil will be resuming his sermon series on the book of Matthew in chapter 13. Please join us!
