Our week at Scuba was overflowing with God Sightings! We saw God in Bible Adventures, in hugs and smiles, and in praising him with music. The kids were awesome! Everyone had a splashing good time!

We’re so thankful for our Scuba volunteers this week! They’ve been spectacular helping kids swim through VBS! Thank you for a life-changing week!

Day 4: It was another fabulous evening under the sea! Tonight, we learned that God is a friend forever! He loves us so much that He wants a deep friendship with us – one that never ends! Because of his great love, God sent his Son, Jesus, to die for us. In the Bible, Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.” (John 11-25)

We saw so many God Sightings today! We learned how powerful Jesus is and that He could calm the storm with just His words. When God is our friend, we aren’t promised that storms and trouble won’t come. He promises He will never leave us. He will be there to comfort us, love us, and give us hope no matter the trouble we are having. We know God never changes. We know He doesn’t lose His power and He doesn’t stop loving us. God is a friend we can trust…THANKS GOD!

Day 2 of VBS is in the books. Today we learned that heroes, even unlikely ones, are those willing to help others and that “God is a friend who loves”!

Our first day was a splash! We dove into how God is a friend who’s REAL. We swam through new dance moves, dove deep in a submarine, surfaced up for snacks and games, watched lightning strike the prophets of Baal, and met all kinds of fun characters. Kids explored exciting Imagination Stations, where they learned, prayed and played together. We can’t wait to dive even deeper tomorrow into friendship with God and hope you will join us!

SCUBA VBS will take kids deep into an amazing undersea adventure where they’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. August 5-9th kids will be immersed in the Word and discover what living water is really all about!!!
