I heard the Spirit of the Lord say, “it’s time for a table flipping.”
Not a just a rearranging.
Not a just a cosmetic cleaning.
A violent overturning of everything that has been exalted above the presence of God.
The Lord is walking back into His temple, and He is confronting mixture, compromise, and hidden idols.
What man has learned to tolerate, God is now putting His finger on.
The Spirit says, “no more mixture.”
No more carrying the fire of God while entertaining the world.
No more speaking in tongues while harboring unforgiveness.
No more preaching holiness while secretly bowing to the approval of men.
God is calling His people back to consecration.
Back to purity.
Back to the fear of the Lord.
There are tables in the temple that Jesus never authorized.
Tables of pride.
Tables of greed.
Tables of lust.
Tables of self promotion.
Tables of performance driven ministry.
Tables where people have exchanged the glory of God for platforms, applause, and influence.
But the Lord overturning what man has built so He can restore what His Spirit desires.
This is an hour of cleansing.
The Lord is purifying His house again.
He is driving out what has contaminated the temple.
Some have wondered why there has been such conviction lately, why hidden things are surfacing, why God will no longer allow compromise to stay covered.
It is because revival cannot rest on a polluted altar.
God is after clean hands and pure hearts.
“Let those who carry the vessels of the Lord be clean.” (Isaiah 52:11)
There is a fresh call to holiness coming to the church.
Not legalism.
Not dead religion.
But holiness that flows from intimacy with God.
Holiness that says, “I refuse to grieve the Spirit.”
Holiness that burns with love for Jesus more than love for this world.
I hear the Lord saying, “Tear down the idols.”
Tear down everything that competes with His presence.
Tear down every secret altar.
Tear down every hidden compromise.
Some idols are not made of gold and stone, they are made of ambition, entertainment, comfort, relationships, and self.
But God will not share His glory with another.
This table flipping will offend the flesh, but it will free the spirit.
God is raising up a remnant that would rather have purity than popularity.
A people who would rather carry oil than image.
A generation that is not interested in pretending to have power but will pay the price to truly carry
His presence.
The cleansing has begun.
The overturning has begun.
And what remains after the shaking will be holy unto the Lord.
