This news was shared by our friends at Lincoln Christian Institute. Onarga Christian Church has supported both Lincoln and Milligan Christian colleges in the past, and our Prairie States Camp has had camp teams from these colleges, as well. Please pray for the students involved and their families, and their classmates and friends struggling with this tragedy.

We are profoundly shocked and saddened to share that members of our cycling team were in an accident involving a vehicle this morning while cycling in Hampton, TN. Sophomores Haylan Engdahl and Brayden Rogers were killed in this accident. Multiple other Milligan cyclists were also seriously injured and are currently receiving treatment at the Johnson City Medical Center. There are no words to adequately describe this level of loss. Our prayers are with all those impacted by this tragedy. Please keep the Milligan community in your prayers.

Each year the OCC Ladies Christian Fellowship plans a night out of food and fellowship. (and fun, of course!) This year fifteen ladies enjoyed supper at The Country Kettle in Gibson City. The food was great and the service was excellent. The evening left everyone wondering, “Why don’t we do this more often?”

On Sunday, August 23rd we will have our 10:30 worship service at Onarga's Durham Park, with an old-fashioned church picnic to follow at noon. The church will provide pork chops, pork burgers, and hot dogs, as well as table service and drinks. Members are asked to bring side dishes and desserts. We will set up in the pavilion. Bring lawn chairs if you prefer that over picnic table seating. We will not have Sunday School that day. Community members are welcome to join us! Please come!

Hey everyone! We're looking at ordering shirts like these for our church cookout day on the 23rd. We'll have a sign-up sheet available on Sunday for orders and sizing. The price for the shirts will be $20, and we need to get the orders in by the 13th so please don't forget to sign-up.
