The Illinois legislature recently passed a bill (SB 1950) that would make physician assisted su***de legal in the state. Governor Pritzker has indicated uncertainty as to whether he will sign it into law. Please contact his office to voice your opinion against this law that will only further devalue life in our state. Encourage your parishioners to do the same. You can use the link below, as well as the phone number, to send in this language or something similar:

“Governor Pritzker, I respectfully encourage you to veto SB 1950, so that physician assisted su***de does not become legal in Illinois. This change in law would have profoundly negative consequences for doctors, hospitals, and the marginalized in our State.”
