With both sorrow and great hope, we share that Pastor Robert Cannon entered into his eternal home at approximately 2:30 this morning. We can only imagine the joy of hearing the words he had longed for all his life: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)

Pastor Cannon peacefully passed from this life into the presence of his Savior, surrounded by the love of his family. His devoted wife Sylvia, and his daughters Terry and Carla, were by his side as he entered the arms of Jesus.

While our hearts grieve the loss of a husband, father, pastor, family member, and dear friend, we also rejoice in the assurance that Pastor Cannon's faith has become sight. His race is finished, his labor is complete, and he is now experiencing the fullness of the promise he faithfully lived for.

Please continue to keep Sylvia, Terry, Carla, and the entire Cannon family in your prayers in the days ahead. May the peace of Christ surround them, strengthen them, and remind them that because of Jesus, this is not goodbye—it is simply, “Until we meet again.”
