Ekklesia (i.e. the PEOPLE of God): a gathering of believers in Christ intended to, "...equip them for the works of service."
So ... why does there seem to be such a stagnation of inaction and false doctrine(s) so prevalent within the Americanized version of God's church today?
Have we become religious spectators rather than repentant participants?
Is it because we have few bondservants and far more '"Co-Regents" who want to share the throne of their hearts with King Jesus rather than truly surrender?
Perhaps it's because we have far too many pretend Christians who have plenty of standing in the Community but very little kneeling in the prayer closet.
Maybe the eagerness for numbers and relevance in the eyes of men has caused a willingness amongst Church leaders and Pastors to preach only a message of love and inclusion rather than one of repentance and sacrifice.
Maybe it's because the American pulpit is filled with a message that exalts and promulgates the desires and dreams of the human heart rather than the plans and purposes of the Father's heart and His purposes for building HIS kingdom.
Jesus bled, died for, and built HIS Church (i.e. His Bride ... not a building) for a reason. We should always remember that, and always remember to let the Architect and Builder determine how His creation should look, act, and live.
