Worship with us for Palm Sunday!

10:00 am - Procession with palm branches starts at the northeast corner of Hanscom Park, followed by Eucharist service at Park Avenue Commons.

Anglicans traditionally hold a Palm Sunday procession as we conclude Lent and enter Holy Week.

We reenact Jesus’ walk to Jerusalem, and with crowds on the first Palm Sunday we face our conflicting desires to both follow Jesus, and turn away from his path.

“On this day our Lord Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem and was welcomed as a King with palms and shouts of praise. Today we greet him as our King, though we know his crown was a crown of thorns and his throne a cross.”

“We cannot control our life. As The Great Wave by Katsushika Hokusai shows so memorably, the great wave is in waiting for any boat.

It is unpredictable now as it was at the dawn of time.

The worst is not that we may be overwhelmed by disaster, but to fail to live by principle.

Ash Wednesday reminds us of our constant need to acknowledge and confess our fallen humanity, to repent of the past and throw ourselves on the loving mercy of God.

For we have been assured that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus.” - Sister Wendy Beckett, The Art of Lent

We love the kids of Christ Our Peace!
This week is All Together Sunday, when we have a kid-friendly liturgy, songs, and sermon. "Almighty God, heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom so to train them, that they may love all that is true, and pure, and lovely, and of good report, following the example of their Savior Jesus Christ. Amen." - Collect for the Care of Children, Book of Common Prayer

Ever heard of Compline (pronounced "comp-lin")? It's the traditional prayer before bedtime that Anglicans and other liturgical Christians pray.

Taken from the Book of Common Prayer, Compline is a combination of pre-written prayers and Scripture verses designed to invite God's protection during sleep and say thanks for the blessings of the day. It's a deeply peaceful, generous practice that helps us be present to God.

Join us every Wednesday night (that's TONIGHT!) at 8:00 pm CT on Zoom for a quiet fifteen minutes of prayer and contemplation. You don't need to know anything before you join, you can leave your camera off and pray along silently, it's a low-pressure way to engage with God before bed.

Leave a message in the comments if you'd like the link to join us.
