πŸ”₯ Sunday Reflection – Pentecost Sunday
πŸ“– Acts 2:1–11 | 1 Corinthians 12:3b–7, 12–13 | John 20:19–23

Today we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and filled them with courage to go forth and proclaim the Gospel. What began in fear behind locked doors became a bold mission of faith, unity, and service.

The same Holy Spirit continues to guide the Church today β€” calling each of us to use our gifts in service of Christ and His people.

As Knights of Columbus at Christ the King, Pentecost reminds us that our mission is Spirit-led. Through Charity, we serve those in need. Through Unity and Fraternity, we strengthen one another as brothers in Christ. Through Patriotism, we witness to our faith in the public square with courage and conviction.

May the Holy Spirit renew us this week, strengthen our brotherhood, and inspire us to live our faith boldly as men called to serve Christ, His Church, and our community.

Sunday Reflection – January 18, 2026
Second Sunday in Ordinary Time
πŸ“– Isaiah 49:3, 5–6 | 1 Corinthians 1:1–3 | John 1:29–34

In today’s Gospel, John the Baptist points to Jesus and proclaims, β€œBehold, the Lamb of God.” Rather than drawing attention to himself, John directs others to Christ β€” the one who takes away the sins of the world.

This moment reminds us that discipleship begins with recognizing Christ and bearing witness to Him. Our faith is not meant to be hidden, but lived in a way that points others to Jesus through humility, service, and truth.

As Knights of Columbus at Christ the King, we live this call by placing Christ at the center of all we do β€” serving our parish, supporting families, and standing for our faith through Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

May this week strengthen us to bear witness to Christ, so that others may come to know Him through our words and actions.
