St. Stanislaus Catholic Church

St. Stanislaus Catholic Church was founded in 1919 by Polish immigrants who settled in South Omaha. Witamy! Our pastor is Fr. William Safranek. Bridget/Rose and St.

Stanislaus parish, founded in 1919 by immigrants from Poland who settled in South Omaha, is fundamentally Catholic and respectful of its Polish roots. Our beloved school was closed in 2013, graduating its 88th and final class of eighth-graders. However, we continue to worship together as a parish with members in all generations of life, from our newly-baptized babies, RCIA for adults, and the Gold

en Hill Gems senior organization. We invite you to join us for weekend Masses at 5:00pm Saturday and 8:00am Sunday. All Masses are in English with some hymns in Polish at the weekend Masses. On July 1, 2023 we joined Sts. Francis of Assisi in a new Family of Parishes group that includes Our Lady of Fatima Vietnamese parish that holds Masses at St. Stanislaus.

Share the news! The Golden Gems officers invite you to our first Golden Gems meeting of the year on WED SEP 9 at 11:30a in the St. Stanislaus School Hall. Come and meet us and stay for a luncheon and an afternoon of fun.

The Golden Gems is a great group of people ages "55+" from St. Stanislaus and other local parishes. We get together on the second Wednesday of the month from September through May for an afternoon of fun, games, friendship, and a delicious luncheon.

Annual membership is $15 for the year, due at the September or October meeting. The monthly luncheon is $15 per month.

If you are interested in joining, please contact Joan 402-541-4222. Current members will be contacted by our Call Team.

We thank all of you who celebrated with us at our 5p Mass honoring Our Lady of Częstochowa and recalling the living and deceased members of the Polish Home Omaha and the Polish Women’s Alliance.

Our parish St. Vincent dePaul Society Conference will meet on Sun Aug 23 at 9:30a following the 8a Mass in the rectory basement meeting room. This group is small in number but their impact on our neighbors in need is huge. Please join them if you would like to help!

Our schedule for August 22/23, the 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, includes recitation of the rosary and confessions followed by Sunday Mass at 8a.

At 5p on Sat Aug 22 we hold our annual Mass in honor Our Lady of Częstochowa, and we remember the living and deceased members of the Polish Home and the Polish Women's Alliance. We ask members of these organizations to join us in the opening procession before Mass, and we invite anyone with Polish folk attire to process with us, too. Our schedule:
4p - Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
4:15p - Rosary in Polish and English
4:45p - Benediction
5p - Mass
Our Lady of Częstochowa, Queen of Poland, pray for us.
