Join us this Fifth Sunday Mission Worship Experience at Zion Baptist Church, where everybody is somebody and Christ is all!

Zion Baptist Church
2215 Grant Street
Omaha, Nebraska 68110

Under the faithful leadership of our Senior Pastor, Rev. Kenneth A. Allen, we invite you to gather with us for a powerful time of worship, fellowship, and biblical teaching.

This Sunday, Pastor Allen will bring a timely and challenging message from Matthew 28:19-20 Titled:

"Mission Misunderstood"

In a world where many have confused the mission of the church with personal preferences, politics, programs, and popularity, Jesus still calls His people back to the Great Commission. Come discover what it truly means to make disciples, reach the lost, and fulfill God's purpose for His church.

Whether you are a longtime member, first-time guest, or searching for a church home, there is a place for you at Zion.

Come expecting:
Spirit-filled worship
Biblical preaching
Christian fellowship
Encouragement for your faith
A fresh understanding of God's mission

The mission has not changed. The mandate remains. The harvest is still plentiful.

We look forward to worshiping with you this Sunday at Zion Baptist Church—where everybody is somebody in Christ!

Today, Friday, May 29, 2026, family, friends, and loved ones gather at Zion Baptist Church, 2215 Grant Street, Omaha, Nebraska, to remember a life that touched many hearts and made a lasting impact through love, presence, and cherished memories.

The service will begin at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Kenneth Allen, Senior Pastor of Zion Baptist Church, officiating and serving as the eulogist for this sacred occasion.

To all who are watching by livestream, thank you for joining this moment of remembrance, reflection, and celebration. We pray this service brings comfort to grieving hearts, strength to the family, and peace through the promises of God.

Please continue to keep the Johnson family lifted in prayer during this difficult season. May the love shared, the memories treasured, and the faith we hold sustain us today and in the days ahead.
