Welcome to Zion Baptist Church, 2215 Grant Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68110 — the church where everybody is somebody, and Christ is All!

There is something sacred about gathering at the Lord’s Table. Communion calls us to remember the sacrifice, reflect on the love, and rejoice in the grace that made our salvation possible.

This morning, we gather with grateful hearts, open spirits, and expectant faith as we worship the One who gave His life so that we might have life more abundantly.

Come expecting a word.
Come ready to worship.
Come prepared to remember.
Come to the Table.

Our morning message will be delivered by Reverend James Hawthrone III, who will bring a timely word of encouragement as we celebrate the Lord's Supper together.

As we begin this first Sunday of September, may this Communion Sunday remind us that no matter what we've faced, what we've lost, or what lies ahead—

Christ has paid the price.
Grace has made a way.
And we still have reason to give God praise!

18TH PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY & RETIREMENT CELEBRATION — EVENING WORSHIP

Welcome to Zion Baptist Church!

We invite you to join us for a very special Evening Worship Celebration as we continue honoring Reverend Kenneth Allen for 18 years of faithful service as Senior Pastor of Zion Baptist Church, while celebrating his retirement from pastoral leadership.

Our evening worship service begins at 3:00 PM, and we are blessed to welcome our special guest preacher, Reverend Dr. Tremaine Combs, Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church and President of the New Era Baptist State Convention of Nebraska, Incorporated.

Come and join us for an afternoon of worship, praise, thanksgiving, fellowship, and the proclamation of God’s Word. We believe God has something special in store for this celebration!

18TH PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY & RETIREMENT CELEBRATION

Today, on this Third Sunday in August 2026, we gather for a very special celebration as we honor Reverend Kenneth Allen on 18 years of faithful service as Senior Pastor of Zion Baptist Church.

This is also a special day as we celebrate and honor Pastor Allen’s retirement as Senior Pastor. We give God glory for the years of ministry, leadership, preaching, teaching, shepherding, and service that He has entrusted to Pastor Allen.

Our morning worship celebration begins at 10:15 AM, and the morning message will be brought to us by Reverend Cory Wiley. He is the Pastor of Holy Cross Missionary Baptist Church of Little Rock, Arkansas.

Join us as we come together for a powerful time of worship, thanksgiving, celebration, and experiencing the move of God!
