St. Paul Lutheran Church

St. Paul Lutheran Church We are a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. Our Sunday worship services start at 10 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:00 am. We invite you to come worship with us!

www.stpaullutheranchurch-school.com St Paul Lutheran Church was officially begun December 18, 1887. A school has been a part of our history ever since the beginning. The congregation has moved and worshiped at three different locations. The building at 5020 Grand Avenue was dedicated in 1965. The roof line forms praying hands. At present the school has 60 students with five teachers. It is a tuiti

on based school with scholarships available. Our worship is a blended style of traditional and contemporary. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first and third Sundays of each month. We seek to be reaching out into our neighborhood. We host many events including an Easter Egg Hunt, Clothing Give-Away, Reformation Event, and Drive Thru Nativity. We welcome visitors and encourage people to worship with us.

If you’ve been wondering who bought St. Paul and is now using it for God’s glory, check out the Omaha World-Herald article below.

The property now houses Metro Area Youth Services under the direction of Rodney Evans. Mr. Evans grew up in the neighborhood and has a unique story about how he discovered the property was up for sale.

When you think about it, what an awesome opportunity to continue St. Paul’s 132+ year mission of teaching, teaching and spreading Jesus’ love.

The purchases could shape redevelopment efforts in the area, and some in the community worry that they haven't been involved in those plans.
