Join us Saturday! We will be number 51 in line. Hope to see you there!
Info for Arrows to Aerospace
- The lineup will begin on Bert Murphy at Mission Ave. and continue north on Lincoln Rd. High school entries are lined up on Jackson Street (on the north side of Mission).
- The parade route begins at Bert Murphy, travels along Mission Ave., turns left at Franklin St., and ends at the street north of Washington Park. Please do not disband until you're past the park.
- Be in your lineup spot by 9:30 a.m. (A half-sheet paper sign will be along the curb indicating your group's name and lineup number, except for the high school entries on Jackson.)
- The parade starts at 10:00 a.m., rain or shine.
- There will be porta-potties at 1) the parade starting point (on the corner of Bert Murphy and Mission), 2) in the parking lot of Apollo (114 W. Mission Ave., near the grandstand), and 3) in Washington Park, along with the park's public restrooms.
- If you're handing out candy or other items, please walk to the curb to hand them to the parade watchers. Please do NOT throw them. We are asking that you consider the safety of the children who walk into the street to get candy. If you only give candy to the kids on the curb, they will stop walking into the street. Parade participants who throw candy to children may not be asked to return next year.
- We invite you to stay in the park after the parade to eat, let the children play, and enjoy the arts and crafts and other booths. We’ll have a free foam party, children’s games, co****le games, bounce house, and other fun things to do along with music. We’re also waiting to confirm a “Paint the Bus” activity. An updated schedule will be available on https://bokiwanis.org/arrows-to-aerospace.
