👏 Congrats to these SMM alums who were part of the Creighton Prep Track &. Field team that finished as runner-up in the Boys Class A State Championship!

🏅Prep Assistant Track Coach Paul Kramper (an SMM parishioner) is pictured with the boys who qualified to run at the NSAA Class A State Track Meet. These athletes are each former St. Margaret Mary School students who ran for Coach Steph Guy on the SMM track team!

Spartan Shout Out to George Manhart, SMM Class of 2022! 👏

We know him! 🤩 Kudos to George Manhart '26 who represented Habitat for Humanity Omaha youth volunteers and spoke at the kickoff event for the upcoming Pope Leo Villages.

This kickoff event raised the walls of the first home in a 20-home build in Omaha, part of a broader multi-city movement. The Pope Leo Villages initiative will bring more than 235 quality, affordable homes to communities nationwide, engaging young people in volunteerism by putting faith into action, creating community and building with love. Well done, George!

🤩 Did someone say new bathrooms?! Yes, it's happening at SMM school!
As part of our Parish Capital Campaign, the updates are part of a $2 million endeavor over the summer, with some work starting over spring break. This project will include the full remodel of 8 bathrooms, along with renovations to our art room, music room, and school kitchen.

🎉 Looking back on a wonderful year of 2025 SMM alumni gatherings and accomplishments!
We love welcoming our alumni back to reconnect and reminisce—and celebrating the many ways they continue to share their gifts and shine in our community. 💚

👏 1. The combo team of Class of 2011 & 2012 grads came together to win the 2025 Alumni Basketball tournament on Dec 27.

👏 2. Cece Kramper, Class of '23 and Duchesne Class of '27, was the 2025 Cross Country State Champion in October! She ran the second-fastest time in NSAA State History - 17:55.65.

👏 3. Three - Class of '23 grads were picked as All-State Choral singers for the NMEA (Nebraska Music Education Association) competition on Nov. 22 in Lincoln: Leo Kelly (Creighton Prep), Dottie Smith (Marian), and Moyra Matthews (Duchesne). (Not pictured: SMM Parishioner, Luke Farrington (Central).

🫶 4. The Class of 2000 celebrated its 25th reunion with a school tour and evening social gathering on May 3.

👏 5. Class of '82 and Creighton Prep '86 grad, Mickey Anderson, was honored at the November 2025 Loyola Dinner of Honor and Distinction for his years of service to Creighton Prep. (SMM Parishioner, Jeff Hausman, was also an honoree).

🫶 6. The Class of 1975 reconnected with a full weekend of reunion activities in September.

🫶The SMM Class of 1975 held its 50-year reunion in mid-September. Nearly 40 alums attended Friday and Saturday night events. We also had a school tour, Mass, and a Sunday morning coffee. While about half live in Nebraska, 10 classmates flew in from Texas, Maryland, Washington, Illinois, Colorado, New Jersey, and Florida.

It was as if no time had passed at all, and we left with a commitment to stay connected. Seven of the eight alumni who planned the reunion are members of SMM parish.

💚 The mass honored 10 deceased classmates, and we collected more than $7,500 for a soon-to-be-announced memorial to the school in their names.
