Faithful Shepherd Presbyterian Church Loving God & Transforming Lives in Christ-Centered Community Faithful Shepherd Presbyterian Church started as a new church development in west Omaha in 1986.

After worshiping in several rental spaces, we moved into our sanctuary in September of 1995. Four years later, our Family Life Center, new offices, and eight classrooms were completed. It is exciting to talk to members who have been around since the church beginnings. Many can recount the frustrations associated with several moves and constant change. But God remained faithful to the congregation

and members strive to continue that love relationship which began many years ago. While we no longer consider ourselves a new church development, we do look forward to the new things God will ask of us. Shaped by our history and guided by the Spirit, we invite you to join in the history that will influence future generations.

🌿 Garden Sunday at Faithful Shepherd 🌿

This past Sunday, we celebrated our H.O.P.E. Garden during worship! Following a message from Pastor Nick on the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), the Master Gardeners shared about the positive impact of this special space on our community. After fellowship, folks were invited to join in guided garden tours, highlighting the beauty of God’s creation and the work happening throughout the season.

Thank you to the Master Gardeners for sharing your time, talents, and passion with our church and helping to feed the Omaha community. We are grateful for all you do to help the H.O.P.E. Garden grow! 💚

We’ll be celebrating the H.O.P.E. Garden and the beautiful ways it continues to grow hope, connection, and care in our community, including donating 10,000 pounds of fresh produce to local food banks! 💚
