CORE Student Ministries - LOH Church

CORE Student Ministries - LOH Church CORE Student Ministries is the Youth Group of Lord of Hosts Church. CORE Youth ministers to teens between the sixth and twelfth grades.

Our tag line is "Because we believe the Worship of God compels us to acts of love and service, we are PEOPLE OF ACTION!" The youth group meets each Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the Schell Chapel.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 CORE Youth Retreat! Even though the retreat is over, the seeds planted, the lives changed, the laughs, the memories, the messages will all continue to live on as we reflect.

We will take this retreat with us every where we go and cherish the time we had to soak in the presence of God and fellowship together.

We’re so thankful to have Alec Loomis bring out his telescopes on our final night of camp so we could check out all of God’s creation in the sky. We didn’t get many photos of the students since it was so dark, but we thought we’d share some of the beautiful photos taken and even one Alec took of the moon from his telescope.

One of our favorite moments from Day 2 of the C.O.R.E. Youth Retreat was chapel with Pastor Christy Hair & Shane Hair⚓
 
We had an incredible time of worship before they sat down and challenged our students to build a faith that’s truly their own.
 
It’s one thing to know what someone else believes. It’s another to open God’s Word, study it for yourself, and discover who He is firsthand.
 
We’re believing this chapel sparked a hunger for Scripture that will continue long after camp is over. 🙌
