"Be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror. For he looks at himself and goes away and at once forgets what he was like. But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing. - James 1:22-25

Tomorrow everyone will be at different churches in the Omaha area. Remember that we carry inside of us the Holy Spirit. Do not forget who you are, and what you are supposed to do. We ARE a kingdom encounter with every person we meet; carry yourselves as representatives of the Kingdom of G-d! I love you all and will miss seeing your faces tomorrow. Go be the church, Kingdom Encounters!

Come hungry! KE Cookout starts at 6pm!

Did someone say BBQ?! THIS SUNDAY we will be having an all-church BBQ at KE at 6pm! This will be a great time for fellowship, and we will also take time to share testimonies and memories from the ways we’ve seen God work at KE over the years. We will also get to hear from the missions organizations we have supported. Come hungry!! KE Will take care of the meat and drinks. We’d love for people to bring side dishes. Tomorrow is Sunday, and it’s going to be a BIG day! Join us tomorrow at 11:30am as we have our “At Your Service” event at Jesus Reigns Fellowship! Pastor Jason will be preaching! This is another opportunity to serve and join with the body of Christ in Omaha in another local congregation. They meet at Wellspring Lutheran Church at 1406 E Gold Coast Rd. in Papillion.

Then join us tomorrow evening here at KE for our regular 6pm service as Pastor Bret and Pastor Jason continue to teach on completion and being sent out for the sake of God’s Kingdom. This is all part of our final services as we prepare to transition and bring things to completion here at KE, so you don’t want to miss it! See you tomorrow!
