Being a disciple doesnt mean we live doubt-free... preaching from Matthew 28 -- "Directions for Doubting Disciples" . Whatever we're experiencing, Jesus has all authority, Jesus has authorized us for a mission, and Jesus has our back!

What a great time at our Good News Night of Celebration Tuesday at the Relevant Center. God was glorified, souls were encouraged, hearts were lifted . This years theme was “ The Gospel Changes Everything” and that was clearly on display thru testimony and song!

What an inspiring story on KETV last night! For decades our Good News Life Learning Program at the Douglas County Jail has helped men to connect or reconnect with their faith. And one way of encouraging the men is through this beautiful art project initiated by the county. Thanks to KETV and Madison Perales for telling the story.

Inmates at the Douglas County Department of Corrections are engaging in therapeutic art programs, creating murals that inspire hope and personal growth.

The task of distributing approximately 2000 Hope Packs in our 3 local jails (Douglas, Sarpy, Pottawattamie) is complete. What a privilege to live out the Gospel message in a tangible way this Christmas season. Special thanks to Eagles Nest Worship Center, Thanksgiving Church and TS Bank for hosting packing parties. And thanks to all the individuals and churches who contributed time, talent and treasure to make this happen.

Our Hope Pack distribution got underway today in the Douglas County Jail! Over the next couple of weeks around 2000 inmates and staff in our local jails will receive a gift of treats and a spiritual themed activity book specially produced for this event. A lot of smiles are on display in a very challenging environment!Thanks to all of you who support this effort financially! And there’s still time to give!
