Just completing an amazing six days of ministry in Washington DC including speaking at the first DC area prayer breakfast, witnessing and praying with Uber drivers and restaurant managers, meeting a bunch of new ministry friends some from DC and others from surrounding states, plus meetings with congressional leaders and political leaders. Too much to share here but it was definitely a very powerful and anointed and worthwhile trip - my 22nd one here. And in ten days I will return to Virginia to attend and participate in the National Association of Christian Lawmakers conference at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia

Last week while attending the prayer conference in California the actual process and contents of the conference is not centered on a main speaker but rather many who attend are asked to share for five minutes or less and then everyone gathers to pray over that brief update or presentation for the next 15 minutes or so.

I was invited to share twice and during my second presentation I was interrupted twice by applause which surprised me because I really did not feel that I was sharing anything that inspirational or challenging. As I later reflected my conclusion was that many of the things I get to experience are blessings that others only wish they could do while I am sincerely honored to actually be participating in and making a Kingdom difference. And so my time in San Diego was both fruitful and productive.

Therefor I am thankful to God for these opportunities and to you my friends for your prayers.

Upcoming trips include Washington DC in May, and Liberty University in Virginia in June, and Minneapolis in July.

Jay and Rebecca share in the 50th program of "Directions Television" about their eating plan, weight loss journey and getting fit plans that they launched earlier this year. Together they lost near 80 pounds. Please watch and be motivated to see adults in this age category, actually be successful with God's help, prayer, and mutual encouragement, setting goals and achieving them without some sort of marketing plan or strategy, just following the leading of the Lord with eating and gradual exercise too. Upcoming ministry schedule includes leading the prayer team for the International Freedom of Religion Summit in DC February 1-4 and then helping to host the National Prayer Breakfast followed by being the keynote speaker a week later at the Capitol in Kansas at the Prayer Breakfast in Topeka. And I will be sharing the invocations for the Legislators and Senators as well.
