We are super pumped for all of the things coming up this summer and all the ways God is going to work through the next few months! If you're in high school or know some high school students, we would love for you/them to hang with us for the first time or the hundredth time, and to see what our community is all about!

(Note: on the Wed evenings that we have an event, we will NOT be meeting in the student center)

Yesterday was a lot of fun! We got to spend some time hanging out at South Beach to swim, play sand volleyball, and of course enjoy some ice cream. Last night one of our teams had their last night of VBS at Vive City Chapel, where some kids responded to an altar call moment to accept Jesus! Our other team was grilling up hotdogs at the Envision Miami site to hand them out and hang out for some basketball as an outreach and evangelism opportunity. Last night we gathered to worship together one last time before Matt Perotto gave us an awesome send-off from Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28. It has been an amazing trip, and we are so proud of each and every one of our students. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel home today. Our squad at Vive City Chapel had an amazing first night of their 3-day, space-themed VBS! Our friends at Vive really know how to engage not just the younger students that came, but our high school students. We had a blast singing and dancing with them to engage the kids as well. We had opportunities to sing, dance, play games, teach, and pray with the kids and we are excited to see them again tonight and tomorrow night. We are planting seeds and are praying that God does amazing things through us and our partners at Vive.

One of our squads of students is serving at a church in Ft Lauderdale doing VBS stuff in the evenings this week, and this group was partnering with Vive Cuty Chapel for their VBS program in the evenings this week Wednesday to Friday. Monday and Tuesday night we were helping them to get the rooms, supplies and decorations up as well as pray for over the rooms and for the kids who would be present, that they would be open to accepting Christ into their hearts and lives. Please be praying with us for these things this week.

Yesterday, we had a group of students doing street evangelism at South Beach in Miami. Though it was a little intimidating to initiate conversation with strangers, our students were bold and were able to engage in spiritual conversation, point people to Christ, and pray with and for people in the name of Jesus! Praise God! We have tons of cool stories from these experiences and conversations, so be sure to ask us how God has used us in these ways! Please be praying for our other group of students who are engaging in these conversations and prayers today, we are excited to hear about the ways that God is using them later today.

Here is some of our students creating and facilitating a VBS programs in the evenings this week with some ministry partners at a church in Ft Lauderdale. We have heard and seen amazing ways that God is using our students to love these kids and point them to Jesus, and we are so encouraged! Please be praying for these kids and their families this week, that their hearts would be open to the Lord and that we would be bold in engaging in personalized spiritual conversations with them.

Thank you so much for your prayers, we have had very full days and have seen the Lord do amazing things in and through us! On Monday morning, we had a crew of people help a woman named Bertha clean up her yard. She was such and encouragement to us and we could tell she felt very blessed by our presence and service there. Please pray for Bertha’s back and that she would be able to be a light to her neighbors who do not know Christ.

Tonight we had some free time to explore downtown Miami in the Bayside Marketplace, so we enjoyed some awesome Oceanside views, smoothies, and gelato. We are excited to serve this community tomorrow and for the rest of the week!

Thank you for your prayers, our first full day at Envision Miami has been great! This morning we attended church where we will be serving this week, and afterwards we spent some time doing evangelism training and enjoyed fellowship together. Though talking to strangers about Jesus can be intimidating, we are all very excited to share the hope that we have in Christ alone! Please continue to pray for boldness on our part as we love and serve and proclaim the good news, and pray for the hearts of those we will interact with this week, that they would move closer to Christ because of our obedience to the Lord and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Thank you for praying for our travels, we have made it to Envision Miami! We are so excited to serve people here and embrace what the Lord has for us this week. Please continue to pray for those we will be serving! God is good and we are excited to be a part of what He is doing here!
