Join a Magdalene Community
Do you wish you had a small group of people to talk about issues of faith? We are going to launch Magdalene Communities, smaller communities (small groups) within our larger Church community. A group that will meet once a month to pray together, talk about our Catholic faith, and grow closer to God. This is how it will work, at the beginning of each month, the parish sends the facilitator of the group an outline – a prayer format, a short video, and questions to guide a discussion. All of the content will be taken care of for you each month. You do not need to prepare a thing, just follow the outline. Each group needs a facilitator, someone to gather the group together, maybe you’ll invite a few people you already know and a few people you’d love to know better. Don’t worry about not being sure about how to facilitate because we will offer help. Your community can gather in a home (preferably), a private room at a restaurant, or at our church. The monthly gathering will probably take an hour or two. If you don't know anybody but want to be in a group, we will find one for you.
