Maybe after 6 days it can be put into words…
When you say YES to being part of something BIG, you really have no idea what you’re saying yes to. ❤️
You don’t realize the work that goes into it until you’ve logged 30,000 steps in a day, navigated a minor weather emergency (thank God it was minor!), worked alongside vendors who truly understand and support the cause, and then watched PEOPLE SHOW UP to be part of something pretty incredible.
Events like the MOQ Fall Festival simply do not happen without countless acts of kindness, generosity, hard work and dedication from our village.
So, a long overdue and incredibly heartfelt shout-out to Jimmy & Lynette Vazquez-Brannen, Stacey Stolte Dvorak, Lisa Sund, Jon Barta, Rob Woodling, my partner in crime Jami Connelly Woodling, my partner in life, Dave Mills, our girls and the countless others I could go on and on about at MOQ!
Whether you have been here before or this is your first time…you all stepped into something BIG this year!
The Fall Festival is such an amazingly beautiful event, but it takes a special kind of group of people to believe in what it can be, roll up their sleeves, stick with it when things get a little crazy, and somehow keep saying, We’ve got this!
And you did.
Thank you will never feel like enough. But please know this event happens because of YOU. Because you show up. Because you give your time and talents. Because you believe in what we are creating together.
And when our village shows up like it did this year…WOW. ❤️
We did something pretty special!
