Meet Payton!
I am a freshman majoring in Environmental Science with a concentration in Geography and Planning along with a minor in Emergency Management. My free time activities are scouts, curling, gaming, and basketball.
My favorite verse is 1st John 4:11; ‭‭1 John 4:11 ESV‬‬
[11] Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
I had found Acts 2 by attending Candlewood church.

Last week we had three married couples come and answer questions about singleness, dating, marriage, communication and sexuality. This was such an eye opening time about what it means to date in a time where it can be difficult to navigate.

This past Saturday we had an opportunity to partner with to help train and learn from Disciple Making 101.

Jim W. and Matt O. Did an amazing job of leading out and the class. We had some students share their skills from LiNC and demonstrate how to actively use the tools when it comes to follow ups and 1:1 meetings!

This past weekend we had the opportunity to travel up to Greeley Colorado for our Winter Conference!

It was an impactful 4 days as we studied the importance of 'oneness' and how to love and relate to people as Jesus calls us to do!
-
We got to get close to our own people that we are doing life with in Acts 2 but also got the chance to connect with and grow our relationships with the other churches!

I am a freshman at UNO studying Cybersecurity. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, reading, singing off key, hanging out with my friends, and going on murky dangerous but fun adventures!
