Glory to Jesus Christ! On this Sunday, which coincided with the Leavetaking of the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, we were blessed by the presence of Fr. John Parker, Dean of St. Tikhon's Seminary, and Rdr. Thomas C**n, our former Summer Intern who is teaching presently at St. Herman's Seminary in Alaska. At the conclusion of the liturgy, Fr. Paul lifted the icon of the Dormition as we gave back the Feast, and gave a special blessing for students, teachers, counselors, administrators, and all those that will be returning to school for the academic year. May God bless those who teach and those who learn!

Sprazdnikom! For the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos, the faithful of All Saints gathered for the celebration of Great Vespers and Divine Liturgy. At the end of Great Vespers, Fr. Paul processed with the Winding Sheet of the Mother of God and placed it in the tomb in the middle of the Church. The following morning, Divine Liturgy was celebrated with the Blessing of Flowers, Seeds, and Herbs in honor of the Feast. As the liturgical year draws to a close, we pray that the blessings of the Most Holy Theotokos be with you all.

Sprazdnikom on this Great Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord! Today after the Divine Liturgy for the Feast, we blessed fruit brought by the faithful in honor of the Feast and in gratitude to God for His abundant love and care for us.

Thou wast transfigured on the mountain, O Christ God, revealing Thy glory to Thy disciples as far as they could bear it. Let Thy everlasting Light also shine upon us sinners, through the prayers of the Theotokos. O Giver of Light, glory to Thee! —Troparion for the Great Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord
