What if God is hiding His strength in your weakness? In 2 Corinthians 12, the Apostle Paul reveals one of the most counterintuitive truths in all of Scripture — that the place where our strength ends is exactly where Christ’s power becomes most visible.
Paul had been to paradise. He had seen things no man could repeat. And yet the greatest lesson of his ministry was not learned there. It was learned in pain, when he begged God three times to remove his thorn — and God said no. Instead, God said something better: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Our weakness does not increase God’s power. It just makes it more visible. When we finally reach the end of ourselves, we discover that Christ has not reached the end of His resources.
Join us as we continue through 2 Corinthians and explore what it truly means to depend on grace.
