What if the picture of marriage you grew up with wasn’t actually what God designed? This week we tackled one of the most misunderstood topics in Scripture: gender roles in marriage.
Here’s the truth: submission isn’t weakness, and headship isn’t tyranny. Ephesians 5 shows us something beautiful—wives called to trust God’s design through submission, and husbands called to love like Christ loved the church. That means sacrifice, not control. Service, not passivity. Both roles point to the same reality: marriage is a living picture of the gospel.
Satan hates godly marriages because they preach Christ to a watching world every single day. A husband who leads with sacrificial love and a wife who trusts God’s order together create something hell cannot stand—a home that displays God’s glory.
Your spouse isn’t the enemy. The real battle is spiritual. Stand together.

The wise men didn’t have all the answers, but they had enough light to take the next step. They read Scripture, watched for signs, followed the star, and found Jesus. Their journey teaches us that wisdom isn’t knowing everything—it’s moving toward the light God has given us.
This Christmas, we’re confronted with the same choice they faced: Will we pursue Jesus with everything we have? True worship isn’t about leftovers or convenience—it’s about bringing our best, our all, to the King who gave everything for us. The wise men brought costly gifts because they understood His worth.
You can’t meet Jesus and walk the same way. A real encounter with Him changes your direction forever. Where are you in your journey? Have you read enough to believe? Watched enough to follow? The wisest response to Christmas is to worship the King who came to save you.

Nothing speaks redemption louder than second chances. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet Jesus gave him three opportunities to affirm his love. That’s the heart of our God.
Your failures don’t disqualify you from God’s mission. They’re actually part of your story. When Jesus heals a heart, He also hands that heart a mission. The forgiven become the sent.
Maybe you’ve loudly asserted you would never do something, and then you did. You’re in good company. Faith isn’t the finish line—it’s the starting gun. Leave your failure behind you, not your faith.
God doesn’t expose us to shame us. He restores us so He can send us. There’s no one more qualified to share the grace of God than someone who has experienced His forgiveness firsthand.
Someone in your world is probably waiting for a conversation that will help them believe again and step back into God’s mission. Don’t just heal the wounded—send the restored.
You have never done anything that puts you out of bounds of experiencing forgiveness from Jesus Christ. Not one thing. Today, you can have forgiveness. Today, you can be restored. Today, you can be sent.
