WASHINGTON STATE — IT IS TIME TO ARISE.
This Friday at 12:00 noon, we will be gathering at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia for a time of worship and intercession over our state.
Bring your worship flags if you have them. Bring your prayers. Bring your agreement. We are coming together to lift up the name of Jesus and pray for Washington State.
This gathering is part of a prayer assignment that began with two intercessors and worship-flag makers, Yvette and Simone. Separately, each of them felt led in prayer to create a banner that would travel from state to state. Neither initially knew that the Lord had spoken something similar to the other. When they connected, they realized that the assignments were aligned.
The two assignments are called Chain of Praise and Operation Lighthouse.
The banner entrusted to Washington State is part of Operation Lighthouse. Each state receives the banner for one week. During that time, intercessors and flag bearers gather to worship, raise the banner, and pray over their state before sending it forward to the next state.
The banner has now arrived in Washington.
As I was praying, something I felt the Lord impress on my heart was:
“Washington State, there is prophecy over you. It is time to arise. It is time to wake up and arise. Wake up, wake up, wake up.”
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
— Isaiah 60:1 KJV
This is not about one person, one church, or one ministry. It is an invitation for the Body of Christ to come together in unity, worship Jesus, and intercede for our state.
