What a powerful move of God we experienced today!

Our service began with heartfelt prayers of thanksgiving, giving God praise for His protection, provision, healing, grace, and mercy. We thanked Him for bringing us safely through the storms, covering our families, and allowing us another opportunity to gather in His presence.

The atmosphere was filled with worship, praise, and celebration as we lifted up the name of Jesus and declared His goodness over our lives.

🎓 We also celebrated our graduate, Aaliyah Jackson, for completing high school and receiving a scholarship to Governor State University. We thank God for His faithfulness and favor over her life!

🔥 Today’s Word: Fire Trial – Cleansing and Purging

Apostle Andre Taylor taught from 1 Peter 4:12, reminding us not to think it strange when fiery trials come our way.

The fire is not always sent to destroy us—it is often sent to:
✅ Purify us
✅ Strengthen us
✅ Humble us
✅ Prepare us
✅ Remove what doesn’t belong
✅ Position us for our next level

Just as gold is refined by fire and diamonds are formed under pressure, God uses trials to shape us into who He has called us to be.

One of the most powerful reminders today was:

“You see the glory, but you don’t know the story.”

Before judging someone’s blessing, favor, or anointing, remember that every testimony has a process. Every promotion has a trial. Every breakthrough has a fire.

Don’t run from the fire. Let God use it to cleanse, purge, and prepare you. What you’re going through is not meant to destroy you—it is producing something greater in you.

First Sunday Recap – The Upper Room
Message Title: “Obedience Matters More Than Sacrifice”
📖 1 Samuel 15:1-3, 9-11, 22-28

What a powerful move of God in the Upper Room today!

Apostle Taylor reminded us that God desires our obedience more than our sacrifices. Through the story of King Saul, we learned that partial obedience is still disobedience. Saul lost his kingdom because he chose to follow his own reasoning instead of fully obeying God’s instructions.

• Obedience is better than sacrifice.
• We must know and recognize the voice of the Lord.
• Delayed obedience and partial obedience can cost us blessings and opportunities.
• Fear of people can never outweigh obedience to God.

The service was also filled with a powerful call to forgiveness. We were challenged to release hurt, bitterness, anger, and offenses that have kept us bound. Healing begins when we forgive others just as Christ has forgiven us.
