Child Dedication Sunday is May 10. The child dedication ceremony is a significant event that signifies the parents' commitment to raising their child in a spiritually nurturing environment. This ceremony is not a sacrament or ordinance-like baptism but rather a heartfelt decision to nurture the child in the knowledge and instruction of God's Word. It symbolizes a parent's desire to raise their child according to biblical teachings and to depend on God's guidance throughout the process of parenting. The ceremony also emphasizes the importance of community support, as friends and family pledge to encourage and assist the child's spiritual growth.
